Born and raised in Los Angeles, so driving's a bit part of my life, although I know better than to pull crazy stunts (like street racing).
American-Born-Chinese, as my father likes to joke (parents immigrated from China), and thus after ten years at a Saturday Chinese school, is passably fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
Took Japanese on/off over the years since around the 4th grade, but it's nowhere near conversation level. I still need a dictionary to help and that can only take me so far when the next wrench is context.
And yes, I'm a girl.
